This is where you will find information about the Panel, the 2010 and Beyond consultation process and other items related to the Panel’s work.

The purpose of the Panel is to help chart a course for high performance sport in Canada that builds on our country’s current success and to set a vision for the future.

Through the process of written submissions and roundtable consultations the Panel has collected a number of ideas and views on innovative approaches, best practices, new governance models and fundamental principles that should guide the future of high performance sport. By using all of this information, and through its own deliberations, the Panel will prepare a report for the Honourable Gary Lunn, Minister of State for Sport.

On the right is a SUBMISSIONS box with all of the submissions and contributions received by the Panel.

Below that is a ROUNDTABLES box with reports from the discussions and outcomes of the five roundtables held in Ottawa, Montreal and Calgary. It also includes some post roundtable comments from participants.

Below that is an INFORMATION box about the Panel’s work to date. This section allows you to upload information such as reports or studies that you would like to share with others who will visit this webpage.

We hope you will find this website useful. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Victor Lachance at 613-835-9992 or by [email], or contact David Brooke at 613-567-0399, or by [email].
