Successfully Managing Change Within Your Organization -Ottawa

Draft Agenda:

  1. Debra Gassewitz, SIRC, will welcome participants. (10 minutes)
  2. Dina Bell-Laroche, Centre for Sport and Law, will discuss change and how it’s the new normal. Followed by an introduction of the panel. (10 minutes)
  3. Paul H.J. Cormier, RANA International, with speak about change management principles and how they can be applied in our everyday management work and how this will facilitate the execution of our work. (30 minutes)
  4. Douglas Duncan, Speed Skating Canada, will share his success story of change from an LTAD and in particular, a competition review process, perspective. (20 minutes)
  5. Joan Duncan, JDI Consulting, will finish things off with her long-term experience as a consultant with many organizations by speaking about what they key ingredients are to successfully lead any change initiative. ( 20 minutes)
  6. Break (15 minutes)
  7. Participants will integrate some of the learnings from the panel members by working in small groups to address cultural change issues, followed by Q&As.
