Joannie Rochette
Figure Skating

Joannie Rochette is the first Canadian female figure skater to have won Nationals at all three levels (novice, junior and senior ladies). She is currently a six-time Canadian national champion and two-time Four Continents silver medalist. Joannnie began skating at the age of 6 falling in love with figure skating the moment she stepped on the ice. Joannie’s dream of attending the Olympics came true in 2006 when she placed fifth at the 2006 Winter Olympics. She hopes to fulfill another dream of a podium finish at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.
