Devon Kershaw

Cross Country Skiing

français

Devon made his Olympic debut in Torino, Italy, and impressed with a first-place finish in the opening leg of the Olympic relay. This foreshadowed some stellar post-Olympic results, including his first career World Cup medal, a bronze, in the sprint event at Borlaenge, Sweden. This triumph also gave Devon the distinction of being Canada’s first male podium finisher in cross-country skiing in more than 15 years. Building off that stellar Olympic year, Devon medalled again in a sprint event at the Tour de Ski in 2007 and is now the leader of the Canadian men’s team. Devon has been racing competitively for 12 years including seven years at the international level. Devon has been a member of three World Junior Teams and took his first strides on the World Cup circuit during the 2003-04 season with teammates Drew Goldsack and George Grey.
