Jason Myslicki

Nordic Combined

français

Jason Myslicki began skiing at age 11 the following year he was introduced to skii jumping for the first time and was hooked. Through out the years he dabbled a little in cross country skiing and then in 1998 decided to try out for the Canadian Nordic Combined Ski Team, placing 39th at his first World Championships. After a disappointing finish at the 2006 Turin Olympics Jason decided to take a break from the sport and try competitive speed skating. The idea of competing at the home games lured him back to the sport. The first Nordic Combined event at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics falls on what would have been his dad’s 80th birthday, Jason believes this is a sign that he should be in Vancouver.
