Patrick Chan

Figure Skating

français

Patrick Chan began skating at the age of 5, by the age of 12 (2003) he had won his first National title (pre-novice), this was followed by 2 more consecutive National titles in novice and junior. His win at the 2005 Canadian Figure Skating Championships (junior level) earned him a trip to his first international competition, where at the age of 14 he was the youngest competitor. Patrick has made a name for himself on the international stage placing in the top 10 at Grand Prix events over the last few years. After a leg injury earlier this season kept him from competing, Patrick returned to competition winning gold and setting a record score at the Canadian Figure Skating Championships.
