Position: Senior Manager, Golf Consulting
Job Description: Responsible for developing and managing current business relationships, sponsorships, and partnerships in order to ensure client satisfaction. This position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. This position also assists with the day-to-day management and leadership of other team members.
Duties: • Manages brand integration and works closely with clients to understand and meet their business objectives. • Builds relationships with clients and player agents to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. • Manages the day-to-day contractual and taxation elements of the various relationships while also managing expectations of each party. • Handles logistics and management of all player appearances including production shoot logistics and approvals of player imagery. • Plans and executes CEO golf outings with key clients, including logistics, transportation, briefings, etc. • Ensures superior client communication, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables. • Participates in client pitches and plays an active role in responding to RFPs. • Maintains database for sponsorship requests, letters, etc. and handles responses. • Works closely with the project team to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project. • Manages interagency relationships; works with outside agencies and partners to ensure the smooth execution of all client programs. • Upholds a strong understanding of company capabilities and services with the ability to effectively communicate these offerings to the client. • Continually thinking about business development and new revenue opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
Skills/Qualifications: • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. • 4+ years relevant experience with minimum 3 years direct experience in account and project management (preferably in the sports or entertainment field). • High-level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications. • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both verbally and in writing. • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to create a rapport with people of all demographics. • Strong attention to detail and highly organized. • Ability to think creatively when planning the track strategy, taking into account program needs and budget parameters. • Effective contract negotiation skills and familiarity with contractual language. • Requires self management, including the ability to assess a situation and quickly implement solutions. • Must be able to multi-task and maintain composure under stressful circumstances.
