Edmonton Rush

Application Deadline: January 4, 2013

Position: Account Executive

Job Description:
Edmonton Rush Lacrosse Club:
The Edmonton Rush is a professional lacrosse team in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) that began play for the 2006 NLL season. The Rush is owned by businessman and Calgary resident Bruce Urban, who purchased the dormant Ottawa Rebel to start the Edmonton team.

The NLL announced that Edmonton, Alberta would receive an NLL franchise on May 5, 2005. The Rush is one of the three Canadian Teams in the NLL, along with Toronto and Calgary. The league currently holds nine teams, six of them being in the United States. The Rush is currently in its eighth season, and plays its home games at Rexall Place, which is also the home of the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL.
