Position: Brand Building BC Territory Manager
Team Sport Sales Activities
TERRITORY EXECUTION: Establish, co-ordinate and execute Mizuno’s coverage of selected accounts in the territory. Interface with customers and consumers directly when performing key marketing appearances. Build and maintain relationships with key tournament directors, influencers, industry leaders, and coaches to maximize Mizuno’s brand exposure. Use interpersonal and public relations skills to deal courteously with athletes and other key influencers who will affect the image of the Mizuno brand. Provide input, implement and execute promotional and sales activities in order to build Mizuno brand equity and to fuel demand for Mizuno products with consumers. Assist in gathering consumer feedback on product trends and ideas during key events.
• Present Team Programs to all elite Baseball Programs, Volleyball Clubs and Schools, CCAA and CIS Teams in territory. • Ensure Steamer Training Program is complete and submit a list of Steamer Events in local area to Brand Building Coordinator. • Contact Schools, Teams, Association and Clubs in area to formulate a Mizuno relationship with influencers, coaches and athletic directors. • Ensure your key Team Partners orders are fulfilled accurately, completely and on time. • Manage day to day dealings with all accounts in local area. • Achieve Sales Quota for territory. • Submit weekly calendar program and Market Reports in a timely quarterly manner. • Maintain daily communication with your CSR, Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing.
Key Account Responsibility
NATIONAL & KEY ACCOUNT SUPPORT: Will conduct Service Call visits and coordinate Product Knowledge training sessions with “National” and “Key” Accounts and submit monthly reports on inventory levels, merchandise Mizuno products, and provide feedback on competitor products. Execute Brand initiatives with optimal in-store training plans, create and conduct product clinics, and ensure sell through of Mizuno's footwear, apparel and equipment. Collaborate with in-store management teams to maximize sell through opportunities; increase sales associate product knowledge and selling skills through one-on-one coaching; and use all in-store opportunities to connect with sales associates and consumers to collect product and initiative wins/opportunities, current market trends and competitor information. Market trends and competitor information can also be found on the internet.
• National Accounts- In season store visits- PK and store floor hours are necessary. • Key Accounts- (Defined accounts to follow) Minimum requirement: Bi weekly visits to either work floor (minimum 3 hours) Steamer event, PK, product counts, sample kit count, merchandise specific areas of their store. Achieve Key Account Quota for the year. • Is responsible for attending and organizing all Team fittings, Team Sport Volleyball and Baseball Events in territory.
