Position: Chief Operating Officer
Gymnastics Canada is inviting you to give your career a vault as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO)

If so, please consider joining the Gymnastics Canada senior management team as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Gymnastics Canada is the National sport organization responsible for the governance, development and promotion of Gymnastics in Canada. Gymnastics Canada is a federation governed by a Board of Directors, working collaboratively with the Provincial and Territorial Gymnastics Associations.
Canada is a leading gymnastics country, with more than 250,000 registered participants. Gymnastics Canada’s drive to be the Best-In-Class sport organization requires people like you, who will enable sustainable commercial and viable financial growth and build organizational excellence. Reporting to the President/CEO, you will be responsible for the overall administration & day to day operations and the business development of the federation in accordance with strategic priorities and the operational framework.
Your five (5) years of experience in leading/managing sports organizations with ten (10) or more employees, backed by solid university credentials in a related field, has honed your leadership and interpersonal skills to work successfully with multidisciplinary teams of volunteers, employees and contractors. Your business/marketing degree or experience and your bilingualism (French and English) are definite assets.
The COO is a full time position based in Ottawa, Canada. Some travel may be required. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will include an attractive employee benefits package. For a more complete description of the position, please refer to the attachment.
