General Accountability This position leads and manages the overall planning, management and execution of transportation systems and services to a specified client group(s) as assigned for the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games. This may include, but is not limited to, Games Family, Media, Sponsors, NOCs/NPCs and IFs. The incumbent will liaise on the overall planning, management and execution of transportation operations as they relate to their client group(s). These are evolving positions and responsibilities may shift over time. Titles may be adjusted from time to time to accurately reflect responsibilities.
Key Job Responsibilities • Lead and direct all activities related to fulfilling the Pan Am/Parapan Am transportation service requirements for specific clients or functional areas as assigned; to be done in conjunction with all relevant Organizing Committee functional areas. • Leads and directs all activities related to the design, development and fulfillment of the specific client group transportation system. • Leads activities related to the creation of Detailed Service Level Agreement(s) for each assigned client group(s) • Manages the design, development and distribution of communication documents for assigned client(s), ensuring alignment to overall transportation communication strategy including the preparation of all reports, technical documents, client presentations and user guides/training material. • Plan and work within the critical path framework to ensure alignment and delivery of key TO2015 transportation milestones • Leads the coordination and management of programs, policies and procedures related to transportation client services • Assist in the development of a robust readiness program to be delivered during the TO2015 test events. • Be well prepared and involved in all required public engagement and ‘town hall’ presentations affiliated with allocated Zones – to be done in conjunction with key stakeholders. • Assist in the recruitment and development of a strong, well-disciplined operational team and to positively mentor team members • Organize and manage issue resolution that may emanate from any aspect of TO2015 areas of arrivals and departures responsibility. • Other related duties as assigned.

Educational/Technical Requirements • A degree or diploma from a recognized institution in a related field or equivalent work experience. • Excellent oral, written and communication skills • Strong negotiation and presentation skills • Proven track record of leading integrated operations planning and delivery in major international events, preferably in a multi-sport Games environment. • Proven ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with individuals at all levels of an organization to deliver results. • Proven ability leading a team • Proven experience integrating with municipal and / or provincial levels of government. • Ability to travel to venues – driver’s license required with clean abstract.
