Application Deadline: March 1, 2013   Starting Date: April 1, 2013

Position: Executive Director

Job Description:
HOCKEY CALGARY AD

Executive Director

Hockey Calgary represents one of the largest minor hockey associations in Canada with 24 member associations that have 13,000 players, 3,000 coaches and 900 officials. This not-for- profit organization supports, promotes and governs hockey for players from age five in Timbits all the way up to age twenty in Junior. Its core values of Respect, Accountability, Approachability, Collaborative Partnerships, Communications, Consistency and Fair Play are designed to engage all of Hockey Calgary’s community stakeholders in a meaningful way with a vision to become the Benchmark of Sports Associations.

Reporting to and working with an accomplished volunteer Board of Directors, you will lead a dedicated staff together with hundreds of volunteers in the operation of an organization that plays a special role in the lives of thousands of families.
