Position: Manager, Administrative Services

Job Description:
Reporting to the Deputy Director General, the Manager Administrative Services contributes to the mission and the achievement of the strategic orientations of the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS Quebec) by ensuring the implementation and respect of the policies and procedures in the management of financial, human and material resources as well as the supervision of the activities of INS Quebec’s accounting and human resources department.

More specifically, he/she plans, organizes, directs, controls and evaluates the operations of the accounting and human resources departments. He/she ensures the execution of the complete accounting cycle comprised of all the stages of accounting of the facts and the operations of the INS Quebec.

Primary responsibilities : provide support to the Deputy Director General in the implementation of administrative and management tools conducive to the realization and the achievement of the strategic plan in INS Québec departments, services and programs, provide support in the definition of financial, human and material resource needs; ensure the preparation of funding applications; prepare financial statements and other financial management reports, oversee the preparation of documents for external audits, provide support in the development and implementation of HR programs, policies and procedures, ensure compliance with material resource management policies and procedures for all INS Québec services and programs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor in Business administration B.A.A. (Accounting). CPA Designation. Human Resources Management Certificate will be considered as an asset. Minimum of five (5) years of experience as Manager, Administrative Services or Controller (Finance), ideally in high performance sport. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Available to work occasionally evenings and weekends. Excellent knowledge of financial, human and material resources management. Excellent spoken and written skills in French and English. Strong competencies in related office management software (Accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite).

Duration: Permanent position
Place of work: Montréal (Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard)
Working hours: 35 hours a week
Starting in: June 2013
Salary: Annual starting salary of $54,200 as well as a benefit program will be offered to the successful candidate
