Position: Creative/Design Executive

Job Description:
Cosmos Sports is looking for Full-time Creative/Design Executives. The is a full time, unpaid internship opportunity lasting four months.

Cary Kaplan, President of Cosmos Sports is the former Commissioner of the Canadian Soccer League and former President of the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL). Cosmos Sports is a results driven, proactive Sports Marketing organization with the vision to 'Win the Business' while developing a positive and revolutionary approach to the sports industry in North America. This position is for someone who is interested in beginning their career in sports by joining a rapidly expanding sports management firm. You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of Cosmos Sports, actively working within several areas of the Cosmos Sports scope of business.

About the Job:
This is an excellent opportunity to break into the sports industry in the field of Creative/Design Services. The internship will provide the candidate with a wide range of experience and opportunities to learn about new technologies, applications and programs. You will be involved in all day-to-day operations of Cosmos Sports, actively working within several areas of the Cosmos Sports scope of business. You will help design and create any graphics and creative needs for the company and various projects. Our interns are given the opportunity and responsibility to handle major clients by updating websites, creating promotional items and much more. If you are looking to begin a career in the sports industry and specifically in the field of Creative Services and Design, there is no better place to start than the Cosmos Sports Internship.

Requirements: The ideal candidates will exemplify the following characteristics:
• Minimum 40 hours/week.
• Working knowledge in Web design and online marketing.
• Strong understanding of MS Office Applications.
• Working knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong design style, including creative design solutions for both the Internet and promotional items such as brochures, postcards and e-mail blasts.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential for a fast-paced environment.
• Manage social media properties (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), including daily monitoring, posting, and content development.
• Coordinate and implement social media marketing communication projects with responsibilities that include social media advertising and building the brand online.
• Initiate conversation forums, twitter and postings.
• Prepare status reports on social media efforts and success rate.
• Other duties as required.
• Working towards/already achieved a degree or diploma in Advertising/Design/etc.
Compensation: Unpaid Internship (Expenses will be reimbursed)
