2013 Edmonton ITU Triathlon World Cup
June 23, 2013 – Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

On June 23, Edmonton will host the 2013 ITU Triathlon World Cup. The event is highlighted by the Elite men’s and Elite women’s races on Sunday afternoon, and also includes which the Pan American Junior Cup, Age Group races, the Collegiate Championships, a Kinetico Kids of Steel race (ages 12-15) and a Try-A-Tri race. The ITU International Paratriathlon, sponsored by Amalgamated Mining Group, take place on Saturday, June 22.

The 2013 ITU Triathlon World Cup is seeking the support of volunteers in a variety of roles on race day. The hard work and dedication of our volunteer team is essential in ensuring that we have a successful event. The World Cup is a great opportunity to gain experience, develop skills, be part of a dynamic team, contribute to the community and take part in an international sporting event.

All volunteers will be provided with:
• Orientation/Training
• Event T-Shirt
• Meal, snack and beverages
• Opportunity to interact with elite athletes
• A chance to win draw prizes

Event roles include:
• Athlete Race Package Preparation
• Athlete Check–In
• Water Station
• Course Marshal Run & Bike
• Transition
• Food Services
• Gear Check–In
• Course Logistics Crew
• Clean Up Crew
• Venue / Equipment Crew

Salary Range: Volunteer
