We have long observed that many sport organizations are not sophisticated when it comes to the issue of managing, exploiting and protecting their intellectual property (IP) assets. The Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games brought many commercial and ambush marketing issues to the forefront, which will inform this workshop designed to help small and medium sized sport organizations to better understand IP management. Learn the essential and practical steps of conducting an IP audit and tap into best practices for protecting and exploiting your intangible yet invaluable knowledge-based commercial assets. This is not a marketing workshop, but rather a primer in the homework you need to do before you can design a successful marketing campaign.
This workshop will be presented by SIRC and the CENTRE FOR SPORT AND LAW
The Card Verification Number/Code anti-fraud system was created so that if someone gets possession of your credit card numbers they also need to have possession of your physical card in order to use the card. For MasterCard, it is the CVC2 (Card Validation Code). Visa calls this number the CVV2 (Card Verification Value).
Visa and Mastercard
The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.
