SIRC Launches SPORTDiscus to the Medical Market

ORLANDO, FLORIDA, MAY 27th, 2001: At the Medical Librarians Association in Orlando today, SIRC was pleased to announce the launch of the medical component of the SPORTDiscus database. The health communities across North America will benefit from the comprehensive point-of-care references found in the newly expanded SPORTDiscus.

Areas focussed on for the health communities include: Rehabilitation, Exercise Therapy, Physical Fitness, Child Healthcare, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, Physical Education and much more.

The medical component of the SPORTDiscus was designed to provide an industry record amount of practical level references. "SIRC is excited to share our unique collection of references on health, medicine and sport.
