December 18, 1996 -- Today SIRC (Sport Information Resource Centre) announced its partnership with the Research Consortium of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance to sponsor the 1997 Graduate Student Research Award. This prestigious award, presented at the C.H. The 1996 winner was Kari M. Tank of Illinois State University for her research on the topic of "Goal Orientation and Trait Anxiety Amont Male and Female Athletes".
