Marathons

Whether you are a veteran marathon runner or just getting started, preparing for a marathon is hard work. There are many things to consider before heading out for the big race.

A training program is one of the most important aspects of marathon preparation. But which training program is right for you? How often should you train? How can you improve your time? To help answer these questions numerous scientific studies have been conducted. The risk of injury is high for marathon runners; therefore it is important to be aware of the common running injuries and how to avoid them prior to beginning your training. Once race day arrives the planning continues, everything from what you eat for breakfast to what clothing you wear may have an affect on your results.
