Parents

Parents play an important role in their child’s life, including sports. A parent’s responsibility is to encourage and support their child to ensure their experiences with sport are positive. Parent’s can often be heard yelling at their child or child’s coach from the stands, which has prompted some coaches to go as far as creating a code of conduct not only for their athletes but also for parents. It is easy to get wrapped up in the game but the most important thing is that your child has fun with sport and physical activity.
