SIRC - Moves to New Heights

Ottawa, September 26, 2005 – SIRC (Sport Information Resource Centre) is proud to announce that on September 30, 2005 we will be moving to the top floor of our new location at 180 Elgin Street located in the heart of downtown Ottawa.

Although our location has changed our telephone, fax and toll free telephone numbers remain the same.  Please note our new hours of operation.

The new facilities are ideal as they can accommodate the growth that SIRC continues to experience.  As a direct result of our growth we will be introducing new products and services to the sporting community.   

According to Debra Gassewitz, President and CEO of SIRC, “It is only fitting that our first new product/service announcement parallels with the move to our new location.  SIRC is very excited to announce that our new location will showcase the SIRC Collection in a brand new SIRC Sport Information Research Library.  These resources are invaluable to the sporting community, sports medicine associations and educational institutions.”

 

The SIRC Sport Information Research Library is surrounded by state of the art technology and research facilities which will accommodate our visitors from around the world.  SIRC will also be offering research services, industry related seminars and networking events on a monthly basis.  SIRC has been promoting sport research and information for over 30 years.  The SIRC Sport Information Research Library is a reflection of those efforts.

Every effort has been made to ensure that our clients face minimal interruption to their on-line services.  Document Delivery Services, Web and Email Press Release Services will not be available on Thursday September 29th up to and including Sunday October 2, 2005.  All services will recommence on Monday, October 3, 2005.

Sport unites people around the world.  SIRC looks forward to continuing in its role as the world’s leading provider of sport and information research.
